Freehold Township OEM: Volunteer Opportunities Available

Information for Freehold residents looking to donate their time.

The Freehold Township Office of Emergency Management issued the following alert on Saturday for residents looking to give back in the wake of Hurricane Sandy:

Freehold Township OEM has been receiving phone calls from residents wishing to make material donations and volunteer their time and talents to the Sandy Recovery Efforts.

All material donations may be dropped off at the Thompson Park on Newman Springs Road (Rt. 520) in Lincroft. Items needed include clothing, canned food, blankets, etc.

Anyone looking to volunteer their time working at the distribution centers or wherever needed should contact Gary McTighe at Monmouth County OEM. Call him at 732-431-7400.
