Monmouth County Donation Center No Longer Collecting Clothing
The center is in need of personal hygiene products, bottled water, nonperishable food, diapers, and cleaning supplies.
The Monmouth County Hurricane Sandy donation center at Thompson Park, 805 Newman Springs Road (Route 520) in Lincroft, has been inundated with clothing donations.
The center can no longer accept donations of used or new clothing, but is still in need of personal hygiene products, bottled water, nonperishable food, diapers, and cleaning supplies, according to county spokesperson Laura Kirkpatrick.
The donation center is open from 8 a.m. until dusk.
