Monmouth County to Discuss Future of Route 537 at Public Meetings

Two public meetings will be held on Feb. 26 in Freehold.

Monmouth County is looking to have an open dialog with residents who travel Route 537.

On Feb. 26 Monmouth County will be holding two public information meetings to inform the public of scheduled improvements to Route 537 from Gravel Hill Road in Freehold Township to Route 33 Business in Freehold Borough.

"The purpose for this public meeting is to inform the public of the conceptual alternative and to solicit comment for Route 537," said Councilman George Schnurr at the Tuesday Freehold Borough Council meeting. “What the county does in this regard is to look forward years in advance into what Route 537 is going to look like."
