Tree removal will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

A number of identified trees on the Park Avenue School property will be removed this week by the Department of Transportation (DOT).

According to Freehold Borough Mayor Nolan Higgins, the DOT will be operating on Park Avenue between Kiawah Ave and South Street on Tuesday, Sept. 25 Wednesday, Sept. 26 and Thursday Sept. 27.

“A JCP&L tree person came in and identified trees in that area that need to be removed,” said Nolan.
