Prosecutor's Office Announces Promotions

Following the retirement of two longtime members of the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Acting Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni has announced promotions for the new year.

Marc LeMieux has been named First Assistant Prosecutor while Lori Linskey has been named Deputy First Assistant Prosecutor. “Marc brings a keen sense and understanding about the workings of this Office, and he is an outstanding, home-grown leader who has proven himself as an astute legal expert, I look forward to his increased role in our Office,’ Gramiccioni said.

Having served in the office as a law clerk back in 1996 LeMieux came from the Widener University School of Law and Trenton State College, or as it is known now The College of New Jersey. He was originally assigned to the Family Division and also played a role in the creation of the Monmouth County Drug Court under the direction of retired Superior Court Judge Paul F. Chaiet. His most recent assignment was as Director of the Office’s Investigations Division and times as the Director of the Office’s Major Crimes Bureau and Deputy Director of the Family Division.

Linsky joined the Office last January after 16 years with the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice, Office of the Attorney General. In that capacity she served as Deputy Attorney General and Senior Counsel with the Prosecutors’ Supervision and Coordination Bureau, working as a liaison to all State Prosecutors’ Offices, conducting state-wide legal training and also handled management reviews as well as State Ethics Liaison.

Serving as Executive Assistant Prosecutor before her promotion Gramiccioni said she has fit in well in her year since moving into the Office. “Lori is a valuable asset to the Office, and her proven expertise in the area of attorney ethics and conduct adds depth to this Office and bolsters our position to best handle the complex legal world.”

The promotions come following the retirements of First Assistant Prosecutor Rick Incremona and Deputy First Assistant Kevin Clark which were effective as of December 31, 2013. “These two gentlemen left an indelible mark on the history and operation of this fine office with their combined 54 years of service to the County. We wish them fair winds and following seas as they embark on a new chapter in their lives,” Gramiccioni said.
