Township Proclaims April Autism Awareness Month

At the March 27 Township Committee meeting April was named Autism Awareness Month.

In Freehold Township April is now known as Autism Awareness month.

At the March 27 Freehold Township Committee meeting, Mayor Anthony Ammiano and the rest of the Committee presented John Redding, a Freehold Township resident, with an official proclamation that names April 2012 to be Autism Awareness Month.

“I appreciate this,” said Redding after the presentation of the Proclamation. “The Mayor and Committee have done this year after year and they have been keeping up with it, and keeping the faith. It is a great honor to come every year and hear you issue the Proclamation.”

The 2012 April Proclamation will be displayed in the lobby of the during the month of April.
