Updated Monmouth County Polling Location List

Residents will be voting in their communities in 51 of 53 towns.

The Monmouth County Board of Elections has released an updated list of polling locations for Election Day.

Power outages in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy forced some municipalities to change polling places. In the case of two muncipalities severely impacted by the storm, voting will take place in neighboring communities.

Sea Bright residents will vote at the Fair Haven Fire House on 645 River Road in Fair Haven. Loch Arbour residents will be voting at the Allenhurst Fire House on 311 Hume Street in Allenhurst. All other residents will vote in their own community.

In 23 of the 53 municipalities of Monmouth County, there will be no changes in polling districts.

A listof polling stations is available in the PDF in the multimedia section of this article.

I live in Freehold Twp. and the changes in district polling places on the Patch differ from the official list that the Freehold Township has posted on their website. Please investigate and post the final locations for the Frehhold Township polling places for each District.

Prayer Before an Election
Lord God, as the election approaches, we seek to better understand the issues and concerns that confront our city/state/country, and how the Gospel compels us to respond as faithful citizens in our community. We ask for eyes that are free from blindness so that we might see each other as brothers and sisters, one and equal in dignity, especially those who are victims of abuse and violence, deceit and poverty. We ask for ears that will hear the cries of children unborn and those abandoned, Men and women oppressed because of race or creed, religion or gender. We ask for minds and hearts that are open to hearing the voice of leaders who will bring us closer to your Kingdom. We pray for discernment so that we may choose leaders who hear your Word, live your love, and keep in the ways of your truth as they follow in the steps of Jesus and his Apostles and guide us to your Kingdom of justice and peace. We ask this in the name of your Son Jesus Christ and through the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
