Borough BOE Seeking Candidates

There will be four open positions on the Borough Board of Education during the 2012 Annual School Election.

The Freehold Borough Board of Education (BOE) has three, three-year term seats and one, one-year unexpired seat up for election in the 2012 Annual School Election.

Candidate Packages (including the Nominating Petition) may be obtained from the Business Administrator/Board Secretary, at the Borough of .

The current time line requires that Nominating Petitions for election to the Board of Education be received by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5. Petitions can be mailed or delivered to Mr. Patrick S. DeGeorge, Business Administrator/Board Secretary, Borough of Freehold Board of Education, 280 Park Avenue, Freehold, New Jersey, 07728.

There will be drawing for positions on the Nov. 6 election ballot which will be conducted at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, June 6 in the Board of Education Offices. This drawing is open to the public and all candidates. Should the date of the Annual School Election change, however, the drawing will be rescheduled accordingly.
