Colon Cancer Lecture and Screening for Women and Men
Colorectal cancer is preventable when detected early. Yet, colorectal cancer remains a leading cause of cancer deaths in the U.S. Forty percent of those who should get screened don’t—often because of fear or embarrassment.
If you’re 50 or older, or you have a family history of colorectal cancer, sign up for a screening. The screening will consist of a rectal exam and occult blood check.
The lecture will begin at 5:30 pm followed by the screening from 6-7:30 pm by appointment only. Space is limited, registration is required. You must register 4 days prior to the screening due to dietary restrictions.
