PAD (Peripheral Arterial Disease) Lecture & Screening
PAD is the narrowing of vessels that carry blood through the body. A simple, painless screening is used to identify your health risks for this disease.
All that is required is measuring the blood pressure in your ankle and your arm. Physicians will be available to review the results of the assessment. Anyone with risk factors for PAD should attend this screening. Risk factors include: high blood pressure, smoking, high cholesterol, excessive alcohol consumption, poor diet, currently having heart disease, lack of regular exercise, obesity, a family history of PAD, and being over the age of 65.
Registration is required and space is limited. Call 732-308-0570 or visit centrastate.com/healthprograms to register and for more information.
