Totally Healthy Kids Class at CentraState

CentraState Healthcare System is offering "Totally Healthy Kids," a fitness and nutrition class for children ages 7 to 11. The six-week series is on consecutive Monday evenings beginning on Jan. 30, 6-7:45 p.m. at CentraState’s Fitness and Wellness Center, and Star and Barry Tobias Health Awareness Center, both  located in The Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus, 901 W. Main St. in Freehold.

This fun, play-based activity program includes karate and yoga, and is taught by certified fitness instructors. During the nutrition component of the program — which is on the first three Mondays from 6-7 p.m. — children will also learn about fun food facts and practical experience making better food choices  from a registered nurse and a registered dietitian.

The program costs $59 per child. Class size is limited and pre-registration is required. For more information and to register, call 732-308-0570 or visit centrastate.com/healthprograms.com.
