Marlboro 19, Freehold Township 17: Quarterback Parker Hoch scored from 9 yards out in the fourth quarter as the visiting Mustangs (2-2) rallied from a 17-7 deficit for the victory over the Patriots (0-3).
Shane McGhee caught a 37-yard touchdown pass from Dan Bloodgood and ran for a 2-yard score for Freehold Township, which also got a 27-yard field goal from Justin Miller.

Marlboro scored first on a 25-yard run by Brian Prestagiacomo, who also had two interceptions for the Mustangs. Jason Kaplin caught a 14-yard pass from Hoch before Hoch’s winning TD.
Lakewood 20, Manchester 13: Quarterback Devin Tomei threw for 222 yards, including a 68-yard touchdown pass to Mason Jones that gave the visiting Hawks (0-4) a 13-12 lead in the fourth quarter, but a 63-yard touchdown run by Anthony Cook put the Piners (3-1) ahead for good.

Tomei also scored an 8-yard touchdown for Manchester.
Point Beach 42, Mater Dei 12: The Garnet Gulls (4-0) tuned up for a division meeting next week with Asbury Park by beating the visiting Seraphs (0-4).
Kyle Samaritano ran for two touchdowns, including a 50-yarder to open the game, as Point Beach took a 35-0 lead. Danny Tighe ran for a 53-yard touchdown – one of his two touchdowns on the day – and Andre Cochran had a 25-yard score, and Jake Fioretti combined with Bill Barry for a 68-yard catch-and-run for touchdown.
Sam Miles scored a 68-yard touchdown to break the shutout, and Christian Palmer added a 26-yard touchdown for Mater Dei.
Asbury Park 24, Point Boro 14: The Panthers (3-1) struck first, when Joe Fitzsimmons ran for a 29-yard touchdown, but the host Blue Bishops (2-1) controlled the tempo after that, winning in Asbury Park.
Point Boro also got a touchdown late when Chris Oliphant connected with Kyle McGarry for a 5-yard score, but the Panthers were without fullback Ryan Prout, which hampered their ground game.
Colts Neck 35, Middletown North 13: Quarterback Mike Campbell teamed up with wide receiver Tim Vangelas for four touchdowns, including scores of 38 and 43 yards, as the Cougars (4-0) beat the visiting Lions (0-3).
Quarterback Cody Thompson scored from a yard out to put Middletown North on the board first, but Campbell responded with a rushing touchdown of his own to tie the score. Middletown North added a touchdown on a 1-yard run by Jared Mosier in the fourth quarter.
Lacey 42, Toms River South 20: Christian Tutela caught a pass from Tom Kelly and scored an 82-yard touchdown that put the host Lions (4-0) in the lead, and Kyle Spatz added three more as Lacey cruised past the Indians.
Tutela also caught a pass for a 66-yard score for Lacey, which opened the game with a touchdown when Chris Jensen returned a fumble 45 yards for a score.
Robert Hailey score touchdowns of 17 and 5 yards for Toms River South, and Otis Kearney had a 31-yard TD run for the Indians.
