Freehold Borough Teachers Receive Check from Education Foundation

The Freehold Borough Education Foundation presented grants to 17 Freehold Borough teachers and to the BOE.

Representatives from the Freehold Borough Education Foundation made an appearance at the Monday night Freehold Borough Board of Education (BOE) meeting to recognize teachers who were awarded grants.

This year, the foundation awarded a total of $7,325 to 17 borough teachers. With that money, ten new educational programs will be implemented into the classroom and used to better educate students.

Each teacher and program was recognized at Monday’s meeting by the foundation. The check for $7,325 was presented to Freehold Borough Superintendent Elizabeth O’Connell who will provide each grant recipient with the funds to bring in the new programs.
