“Mrs. Vaz and Mrs. Alexander should be commended for all the hard-work it took to put a show of this magnitude together,” commented Principal Joseph Jerabek.  “It truly is amazing to see how much artistic talent is present amongst our students.”

As a result of their hard work, the gymnasium in the Park Avenue Complex was transformed into an art gallery.  Over 150 pieces of student work was on display for the public to admire.

The artwork represented the artistic talents of students in grades one through eight.  Next to each piece of work was a small card containing the name of the student artist, his/her grade level, and the title of the work.  Artwork ranged from still life pencil drawings to self-portraits to artist-inspired replications.

Missed this year’s show? That’s okay! Based on this year’s success the district looks forward to the making this art show an annual event!
