Important Freehold School Dates for April 2013

Now that spring break is over, summer vacation does not seem that far away. With three months left in the school year, April marks the beginning of the final stretch, however, there are some days worth noting this month.

Freehold Borough Schools

Monday, April 1 – Students on Spring Break

Tuesday, April 2 – Students return to school

Monday, April 8 – Freehold Borough Board of Education meeting with new Superintendent Dr. Rocco Tomazic. The meeting will be held in the Park Avenue Elementary School and will begin at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, April 24 – Kindergarten registration begins in the Freehold Learning Center Media Lab. By appointment only, registration will take place between 8:30 a.m. and noon and 1:10 and 3 p.m.

Thursday, April 25 – Kindergarten registration continues by appointment only in the Freehold Learning Center between 8:30 a.m. and noon and 1:10 and 3 p.m. More information about registration can be found here. 

Freehold Township Schools

Monday, April 1 – Students return from Spring Break

Tuesday, April 9 – Board of Education meeting at 8 p.m. the meeting will be held in the Freehold Township School offices.

Wednesday, April 10 – A NJASK presentation will be given at the Barkalow Middle School at 7 p.m.

Saturday, April 20 – Catena Fun Run

Tuesday, April 23 – Board of Education meeting at 8 p.m. the meeting will be held in the Freehold Township School offices.

Friday, April 26 – Third quarter ends

FRHSD

Monday, April 1 – Students return from Spring Break.

Monday, April 8 – FRHSD Board of Education meets for a special meeting at Colts Neck High School. The public portion of the meeting will begin at 8 p.m.

Friday, April 19 – Colts Neck and Manalapan have their junior prom; early dismissal for Marlboro and Freehold Township students.

Monday, April 22 – FRHSD Board of Education will meet at their administration building at 7 p.m. The public portion of the meeting will begin at 8 p.m.

Tuesday, April 30 – Third marking period grades posted.
