Local Organizations Team Up For SAT Test Prep

The Kiwanis Club of Marlboro announces their second annual free SAT Assessment at Supreme Tutoring of Freehold.

Continuing with last year's free SAT assessments, the Kiwanis Club of Marlboro and of Freehold have decided to once again team up to help prepare students for the SAT’s. The Marlboro Recreation Center, located at 1996 Recreation Way, Marlboro, will hold a free SAT Assessment on Saturday, March 3 at 8:30 a.m. A continental breakfast will be served along with a parent workshop at 9 a.m.

Supreme Tutoring will be administering the four-hour exam by licensed and certified teachers and is a facsimile of an actual SAT test. While the students work diligently in a classroom setting that day, the parents will be invited next door to the parents' workshop where information on other state requirements such as NJASK and ACT tests will be discussed. Adam Newman, founder and president of Supreme Tutoring, brings over 15 years' experience in the educational field. Newman will conduct the workshop and provide a detailed overview of the SAT testing process.

The workshop is intended to give the parents a better idea of how difficult and stressful the SAT process can be for their children. More importantly, the test results will give the students a rare opportunity to experience how they might score if they were to take the test today. The individual and confidential test results will be available from Supreme Tutoring within seven business days. Following the testing, parents will receive a breakdown of their child's assessment as if it were a true SAT Individual evaluations of each student's test results will be available free of charge directly from Supreme Tutoring.
