At the Freehold Borough Board of Education (BOE) meeting on Monday, the BOE awarded a contract to the Freehold Learning Center in the amount of $8,200 for kitchen upgrades.
Freehold Borough BOE Business Administrator Patrick DeGeorge confirmed that the new upgrades at the Freehold Learning Center would allow food to be cooked in the school’s kitchen instead of it being brought in from other schools in the district.
“The new upgrades are designed to make it a fully operational kitchen.”
Equipment upgrades at the Freehold Learning Center include sinks, tables and cashier station.
