Sneak Peek: Park Ave. Elementary School Basket Raffle

Feeling lucky? The 9th annual PTO Basket Raffle is this Saturday, March 3 and Patch got a sneak peek of what will be there!

Check out the photos above to see what attendees can bid on. According to Susan Greitz, the event chair, "These photos are only a small sample of the more than 130 baskets/prizes that will be won at the event."

In addition to the baskets, there will be a 50/50 raffle and calendar game raffle.

Some of the prizes include a 32" flat screen HDTV, Nook, restaurant gift certificates, local theater tickets, beauty and fragrance baskets, Red Bull tickets, passes for Chelsea Piers in NYC, a $100 Best Buy gift card, Disney World Hopper passes, Philly Flyers tickets, themed baskets and lots more!

Doors open for the event at 6:00 p.m, and the raffle begins promptly at 8:00 pm. Admission is $10 and includes door prize chance, desert, coffee and water. Sorry kids, this is an adults only event.

Proceeds benefit the students at Park Avenue Elementary School, and cover costs for Field Day, buses and admissions for field trips, the Theater Week program and more educational and enrichment items.

The event is being held in the Park Ave. School Complex gymnasium. Advance tickets available by calling the school office at 732-761-2124.
