Sectional Title Preview

Manalapan is looking to secure their first Central Jersey Group IV title, when they take on Sayreville at Rutgers University on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 1 p.m. They have put together their 10-win season behind running back John Sieczkowski, who earlier this year set a Shore Conference record with 425 rushing yards against Howell. Sieczkowski will look to expose the Bomber's defense, a year after Sayreville's defense shut down Brick Memorial, 14-0, in the Central Jersey Group IV final, last year.

The Matawan Huskies will be looking to continue their rich football tradition of success this weekend, when they take on Shore Conference-foe, Rumson-Fair Haven at Rutgers University on Saturday, Dec. 3. They have been powered all season by transfer senior Larry Alston III. The running back/wide receiver combination player had the best game of his season two weeks ago, when the Huskies took down second-seeded Manasquan in the semi-finals. Now, he will try to help Matawan take down another Conference opponent on the biggest stage of the season.
