Whiz Kid's Accomplishments: Kayla placed first in the middle division of the Future Problem Solving of New Jersey’s individual problem solving competition. She will head to an international competition at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse from Thursday, June 9 to Sunday, June 12. Teams of students are sent from Australia, Canada, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Singapore and 41 states in the U.S.

Whiz Kid's Keys to Awesomeness: Future Problem Solvers are given a future scenario involving global issues such as air quality, transportation or genetic testing. As a Future Problem Solver, Kayla thinks of solutions to global problems. She has developed analytical and communications skills that will be an asset to her own personal development and to her fellow man. She demonstrated some of these skills at the Freehold Borough Board of Education meeting on Monday, April 11 when she delivered a presentation on the Future Problem Solvers.
