New Season Means New Group for Patriot Football

The Patriots make move to CJ V.

The 2012 season will be a year of new things for the Freehold Township football team. 

In a story on NJ.com the Freehold Township Patriots have moved from Central Jersey Group IV to the newly formed .

The Patriots will face plenty of familiar faces in the new Central Jersey Group V from the Shore Conference Brick Memorial, Manalapan, Howell and Monroe. The Greater Middlesex Conference is also represented in the new group with schools like East Brunswick and Monroe as well as Colonial Valley Conference teams like West Windsor Plainsboro North and Trenton Central.

The new group extends all the way up to Hunterdon County and the Skyland Conference with representation from schools like Hunterdon Central.

The Freehold Borough Colonials will compete against teams in the Central Jersey Group Group IV. There the Colonials will face off against teams like Colts Neck, Jackson Liberty, Middletown North and Woodbridge.
