Boys Patriot Basketball Starts Division Games with a Victory

Coach Brian Golub of the Freehold Township Boys Varsity Basketball Team tells Patch what his goals for the rest of the season are.

The Freehold Township Patriots may not currently have a winning record, but after defeating CBA Thursday night in the team's first Division game, the season is definitely not over yet.

Freehold Township boys Varsity Coach Brian Golub told Freehold Patch that when the season ends, depends on how well the boys play during the next few games. According to Golub, the Patriot's season has had it highlights, including a win against rival and fellow Freehold Regional High School, the Manalapan Braves.

On Thursday, the Patriots took on Christian Brothers Academy (CBA) at home and walked away from their first season Division game as victors, beating CBA 67-51.
