Clemens, Testa to Headline Olde Freehold Day

Musical lineup announced for Olde Freehold Day.

The late Clarence Clemens' memory will be present at Olde Freehold Day as his son, Nick Clemens, agrees to join the already star-studden musical entertainment lineup.

According to music promoter Ron Davis, Clemens will perform on center stage along side local sensation Eddie Testa, a 30-year veteran of the Jersey shore scene. Testa has been tagged as Freehold Boro’s second favorite son. This man with the golden voice is what Davis calls, “a real crowd favorite wherever he goes.”

Rounding out the musical line-up at Boro’s family fair are: Step Aside, a legendary 70s band; Solomon Cobb, a gospel group that played on our favorite son’s “Wrecking Ball” album; Nancy Ryan Rocks Band, and the Halogens – both shore favorites; the Space Krickets, making their first appearance at OFD; and Freehold Five, featuring our former Mayor, Mike Wilson, who played with Springsteen in the early years.
