Freehold EMS Asks For Community Support

Freehold's emergency responders are asking for public donations.

Its members spend hours helping the community, but now the Freehold First Aid and Emergency Squad is reaching out to the community for help via donations. Freehold EMS is an all-volunteer program and does not receive any tax-funded allocations. Donations will help them continue their services.

This is the time of year when the organization asks for donations, a representative announced at the Freehold Township Committee meeting on Tuesday night. There were few members of the public in attendance, but she urged them to spread the word and to visit Freehold EMS's website.

Donations can be made online (through PayPal) by post. Donations via mail can be sent to Freehold First Aid Squad, 18 Spring Street, Freehold, NJ 07728.
