Sponsored by the Freehold Municipal Alliance to Prevent Substance Abuse, the event will raise money to help support local substance abuse prevention programming for community youth.

The outing, named after the late Freehold Township Mayor Raymond A. Kershaw, will be held at the Knob Hill Golf Club in Manalapan on Monday, June 25.

“Knob Hill Golf Club is a new venue for this event and we are excited about working with the Graeme Preston Foundation for Life as our event sponsor," said Margaret Jahn, Program Director and Health Officer of the Freehold Health Department. "All are welcome to join us.”

Golfers can play at an elite course for $150. Registration begins at 7:00 a.m., followed by a continental breakfast. Shotgun start is at 8:30 a.m. Golfers will play best ball scramble, with prizes for first and second place teams. An awards luncheon will be held at 1:00 p.m. featuring Shaun Golden, the Monmouth County Sheriff, as keynote speaker.
