Highlights from the second night of the Monmouth County Fair at East Freehold Showgrounds on Kozloski Road included a Livestock Fun Show with decked out goats and corny animal jokes, a Riders of the Thunderdome motorcycle stunt show, a lumberjack competition, and the "Equine Extremist" Tommy Turvey's incredible horsemanship.
The annual agricultural fair is sponsored by the Monmouth County Parks System and the Monmouth County 4-H Association. Each day of the fair, which runs through Sunday, July 31, features educational activities at the Home and Garden Tent, the Living History Tent and the 4-H Show Tent.
Special activities and events such as a pie eating contest, a race car simulator, and an antique and classic car show will be featured throughout the week.
General admission is $7 and children 12 and under can get in free.
