Treat Yourself to a Taste of the Towns at The American Hotel

This event is a fundraiser to benefit different children's programs in addition to being a yummy treat.

Want to sample some of the best entrees, wine, spirits, beer and desserts in the area? Good News!

The third annual is less than a week away and you’re invited!

“The first year we had about 30 vendors, last year it was 35 and this year we are at max with 40 vendors,” said Carole Robinson, co-chair of the event. “Every year more and more people are looking forward to going.”

The culinary experience will be on Monday, March 26 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the and will feature gourmet foods and desserts prepared by some of the top chefs in Monmouth County.

Over 40 restaurants and vendors have signed up to participate in the event including Freehold-based eateries , , , , , , , , , and , among others.

Because of the wide variety of vendors, Robinson says this is a great networking event for the businesses and a tastey treat for the patrons.

Not only is this a delicious event to attend, but “It’s All for the Kids”.  According to Robinson, this is theme of the event “because all money raised goes right to the kids!”

Taste of the Towns is a fundraising event organized by the Noontime Optimist Club of Freehold and Associated Auxiliaries.

Money raised from the Taste of the Towns will support the Children & Families’ Housing Needs at the Procure Treatment Center in Somerset, NJ; Camp Quality NJ, a camp for children with cancer; and youth activities and scholarships sponsored by the Noontime Optimist Club of Freehold.

Robinson says the money will go to groups and activities that highlight the goal of the Noontime Optimist Club. “Our mission is to bring out the best in kids,” she explained.

Cost to attend this event is $75/person in advance and $125/person at the door. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
