Council Meeting Monday in Freehold Borough

A look at events happening this week in Freehold

When the Freehold Borough Council meets on Monday night there is a relatively light agenda as the council prepares for the holiday excitement in the downtown area.

One item on the agenda is a resolution authorizing the purchase of a pick-up truck through a state contract. There is also a resolution confirming the retirement of Norman Townsend, Superintendent of the Water and Sewer Department. Townsend’s retirement will be effective as of December 1.

Also this week the Freehold Township Board of Education is scheduled to meet on Tuesday night at 8 p.m. in the Board Office Conference Room.
