Elks Wrap Bike Nights This Week

A look at events happening around Freehold this week

Now that summer is over the Freehold Township municipal government is getting back into full swing with two meetings on the calendar this week.

The Freehold Township Council is scheduled to meet Tuesday night and the Zoning Board of Adjustment is scheduled to meet on Thursday night. As of Sunday neither agenda had been posted on the Township website.

The Freehold Branch of The American Association of University Women (AAUW) will meet on Thursday night at the Barkalow School. This month’s meeting will include Maureen Leach discussing “Community Cookbooks-A Civil War Legacy.”

Downtown Freehold is also scheduled to come to life on Thursday night as the Freehold Elks Motorcycle Club holds the last Bike Night of the season from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
