Freehold Hosts Spooky and Tasty Events This Week

A look at events happening in Freehold this week.

From the serious to the spooky to the tasty there is something for everyone to do in Freehold this week.

The Freehold Borough Board of Education will hold its last meeting of the month on Monday night at 7 p.m. at the Freehold Learning Center. The Freehold Township Board of Education will be meeting on Tuesday night at 8 p.m. in the Board Office Conference Room.

There are also several Halloween themed events including the Barnes & Noble on Route 9 hosting a Halloween Family Fun Spook-tacular which will include stories, craft projects, snacks and more.

Freehold Township will also be hosting a Safe Candy Trick or Treat event. On Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. until 7 people can head to the Freehold Township Senior Center on Jackson Mills Road to get candy and have a fun time. Kids can wear their costumes and parents can get pictures as the center is transformed into a haunted house for a few hours.

On Wednesday night downtown Freehold will once again host a Flavor of Freehold event. For just $25 per person people can try restaurants around the town while supporting the Brennan Stands Alone Foundation.
