Public Hearing on Borough Revaluation Funding Monday

A look at events happening in Freehold this week.

The Freehold Borough Council will be working right up to Election Day with a meeting scheduled to be held Monday night at Borough Hall.

Scheduled to start at 7:30, the meeting includes a full agenda covering a variety of topics. There will be a public hearing on the authorization of funding for the county ordered revaluation. The council is also expected to introduce a resolution objecting to a plan to expand Route 537 in the borough.

Polling places in Freehold Township and Freehold Borough will be open from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. and will have local elections on the ballot in both municipalities as well as elections at the county and state level to vote on.

On Wednesday night the Barnes & Noble on Route 9 will be hosting a book signing by Rebecca Cipriano and Kenneth Herman. They will be signing their book Pop: Burst the Diet Bubble and Finally Lose Weight.

The Freehold Township Planning Board is scheduled to meet at 7:30 on Thursday night. There is an application the agenda to build a development called Harvest Ridge at Howell located on West Farms Road and an application by Bank of America for the Main Street location.
