Cancer Center Fundraiser at CentraState Saturday

A look at events happening in Freehold this weekend.

A fundraiser at CentraState Medical Center this weekend will provide locals a chance to shop for a variety of goods while also benefitting the hospital’s fight against cancer.

Scheduled to start Saturday at 9 a.m. the vendor fair will be held at the Star & Tobias Ambulatory Campus companies expected to attend include Pampered Chef, Dove Chocolate, Tastefully Simple and more. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Cancer Center at CentraState Medical Center.

On Saturday afternoon Lake Topanemus will get a decidedly scary feel during the annual Freehold Spooktacular Haunted Hayrides. Starting at 1 p.m. the event features hayrides through the park as volunteers do their best to spook people on the rides. There is also a Kids Game Zone for the younger participants as well as free refreshments at the food tent and all activities are free.
