Harpsichord Recital This Weekend in Freehold
A look at events happening around Freehold this weekend.
Music fans, especially those who enjoy classical music undoubtedly know names like Johan Sebastian Bach and Armand-Louis Couperin but this weekend a local church is featuring an instrument that most have never played or seen before.
The First United Methodist Church will be hosting a harpsichord recital presented by Sean Price. The show is scheduled for Friday night at 7:30 and for just $15 people can enjoy a full recital by Price featuring a variety of classical masterpieces. There will also be a reception following the performance.
On Saturday the Clifton T. Barkalow PTO will be holding a clothing drive from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Items being collected include clothing, shoes, stuffed animals, linens and handbags.
