Thanksgiving Battle Postponed Due to Weather

Thanks to the rain on Wednesday the Patriots and Colonials will have to wait one more day to see who claims bragging rights for the year on the football field. The two teams will meet on Friday morning at Freehold Borough with kickoff set for 11 a.m.

Once the football and feasting is done there is still plenty to do in Freehold including a comedy night sponsored by the Freehold Elks Lodge. Doors open at 7:30 on Saturday night with the laughs starting around 8:30 thanks to four comedians including Sudsy, John Kensil, Josh Bennett and the Legendary Wid. Tickets are $18 in advance or $20 at the door.

On Saturday night Men of Horses will be performing at iPlay America playing everything from Paul Simon to Maroon 5 and The Eagles to the Foo Fighters. The show is scheduled to start around 8 p.m.
