Freehold High School Wins American Computer Science League All Star Competition
The four students won the most competitive division in the international competition.
Freehold High School (FHS) students came out on top of the American Computer Science League All Star Competition. The international competition was held at West Chester East High School in Pennsylvania and featured schools from the United States, Europe and Asia. The team placed first in the Senior 5 Division, the largest and most prominent group in the competition. "We scored 58 out of 60 points in the programming part of the competition and 54 out of 60 points in the short answer test on computer science topics, for a total of 112 points," shared FHS Teacher & Advisor, James Gill.
