The Show Must Go On: FHS Debuts Rebel Without A Cause

Sandy disrupted the show’s original schedule. Saturday, Dec. 1 will be the sole performance.

The Freehold High School (FHS) Drama Club has shown that it will take more than just a hurricane to keep them from performing their fall play. During the club's prime rehearsal time for the fall production of ‘Rebel Without a Cause’ Sandy hit Monmouth County. With the production eligible for a Basie Award, and months of the cast and crew's time already spent, KasiAnn Iacobino, FHS English and Drama teacher as well as the play’s Director, was faced with a tough decision.  “The storm caused us to lose five rehearsals and would have forced us to go right into our tech week with live performances starting on Nov. 16,” explained Iacobino. “We could either go on without being fully prepared or reschedule for a later date with less performances…
