POLL: Should Clarence Clemons Have His Day in Jersey?
Monmouth County Sen. Jennifer Beck thinks Jan. 11 should be proclaimed Clarence Clemons Day in the state.
For fans of Clarence Clemons, celebrating the legendary saxophone player's birthday may not be enough. State Sen. Jennifer Beck (R) of Monmouth County has proposed a resolution making Clemons' birthday, Jan. 11, which would be recognized throughout New Jersey with an proclamation from the governor, according to The (Bergen) Record. Clemons was born in Virginia, but is an original member of Bruce Springsteen's E-Street Band.
