Man Charged with Theft After Trying to Sell Stolen iPad
Freehold Borough Police arrested a Manalapan man after allegedly trying to sell a stolen iPad to Buy & Sell City.
An iPad was restored to its rightful owner after a Manalapan man allegedly tried to sell the stolen item to a store in Freehold. Freehold Borough Police arrested Christian Vatovec, 22, allegedly tried to sell a stolen iPad at the Buy & Sell City, a discount trade and sales company, on West Main Street in Freehold. The iPad was reported stolen on Feb. 7 and they were able to identify it using the serial number. According to the complaint warrant, Vatovec is charged with theft. His bail was set at $2,500. Vatovec is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 21 at 1:00 p.m.
