Learn About Colonial and Victorian Christmas Customs at Library
The presentation will be held on Friday, Nov. 30 at 2 p.m. at Monmouth County Library Headquarters in Manalapan Township.
The Monmouth County Library System is bringing back one of their most popular programs which is all about Colonial and Victorian Christmas Customs. Judith Krall-Russo will be discussing all of the holiday traditions on Friday, Nov. 30 at 2 p.m. at Monmouth County Library Headquarters in Manalapan Township. Krall-Russo will talk about the similarities and differences between the customs of a Colonial Christmas and a Victorian Christmas. Some common Christmas rituals including caroling and making a gingerbread house have been passed on from earlier times.
