Men Charged With Shoplifting from Lord & Taylor
Loss prevention officers took out-of-state men into custody in separate incidents.
Lord & Taylor loss prevention officers arrested two out-of-state men on charges of shoplifting from the department store. On Saturday, Dec. 15, James J. Limberoplos, 34, of Charlotte, NC allegedly attempted to shoplift $2,360 worth of watches and pocketbooks from the store. He was remanded to Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) on $20,000 bail with no option to post 10 percent bond. In a separate incident, David Nieves, 40, of Staten Island, NY allegedly hid $500 worth of watches in a bag on Friday, Dec. 21. Nieves was remanded to MCCI on $10,000 bail with no option to post 10 percent bond. Both men’s initial court appearances have been set for Tuesday, Jan. 8.
