Freehold Man One of Three Arrested in Jackson
A Freehold man was arrested along with two Jackson men after a motor vehicle stop yielded a drug bust.
The following press release came from the Jackson Police Department. On Saturday, Jan. 26 at approximately 4 p.m., officers conducted a motor vehicle stop with a 2007 Hyundai Sonata in the parking lot of the Burger King on West Countyline Road in Jackson. The car was first observed parked in the Brook Plaza parking lot occupied by multiple people and then was moved to several other locations before ending up at the Burger King parking lot where the motor vehicle stop took place. During the course of the motor vehicle stop, it was determined that there was an outstanding warrant for the driver out of Freehold and information was learned that the occupants of the vehicle were in possession of a large quantity of prescription medication.
