Knights of Columbus to Host 2013 Free Throw Championship
The Free Throw Championship will take place on Saturday, Jan. 26 at the St. Rose of Lima gym.
The Knights of Columbus is calling all basketball free throw shooters to come out to represent Freehold at their annual contest. On Saturday, Jan. 26 all Freehold boys and girls between the ages of 10 and 14 are asked to show off their basketball free throwing skills in the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship. The annual contest serves as a fun activity for the community to get together and be active. The contest will run from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. and will be held in the St. Rose of Lima gym. All contestants will be recognized for their participation; however, the winners in each age group will advance to Knights of Columbus District Contest that involves several councils from surrounding towns.
