Freehold Borough Police have charged a Freehold resident with willingly receiving stolen property.
A Freehold woman faces one charge of receiving stolen property after she was found in possession of a stolen car. Freehold Borough Police arrested Robyn Kelly, 33, of McDermott Street, on Thursday, Feb. 21. According to her complaint warrant, Kelly willingly received a silver 2012 Mazda which was reported stolen out of Jersey City. Kelly has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) on $20,000 bail.

A Freehold resident faces two weapon possession charges following a Saturday, Feb. 16 incident.
Freehold Borough Police arrested a Freehold man after he was allegedly found in possession of a white metal pipe. Raul Olivera, 35, of Broad Street, faces two weapon possession charges after he allegedly used a white metal pipe unlawfully. According to his complaint warrant, the circumstances in which Olivera possessed the pipe was not considered an appropriate use. Olivera was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. He has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) on $22,500 bail.

Man allegedly attempted to sell stolen silver coins and gold rings to a Freehold antiques and collectable store.
Freehold Borough Police arrested a Lakewood man after he allegedly sold stolen silver and gold to Superior Rare Coinage & Collectibles. Troy Jackson, 48, of Elaine Street, faces one charge of receiving movable stolen property following the Friday, Feb. 15 incident. Jackson’s complaint warrant states he sold one lot of silver coins and multiple gold rings to Superior Rare Coinage & Collectibles, claiming to the true and lawful owner. According to the warrant, Jackson knew that the coins and rings were stolen. Superior Rare Coinage & Collectibles bought the items from Jackson for $597.20. The warrant did not state how Jackson received the items. Jackson has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) on $20,000 bail.

A Freehold man was charged with robbery after he attempted to shoplift from a store and in the process, injured a loss prevention officer.
A Freehold man has been charged with robbery after he allegedly attempted to shoplift from CVS. Freehold Borough Police arrested Luis A. Colon-Rosario, 34, of Avenue A, on Sunday, Feb. 17. According to Rosario’s complaint warrant, he committed the act of robbery by inflicting bodily harm against a loss prevention officer during a shoplifting investigation at CVS. Rosario has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) on $50,000.

The woman faces one charge of aggravated assault against a police officer.
A Freehold woman was arrested this week after she allegedly threw a cup of hot coffee at a police officer. Freehold Borough Police arrested Michelle Wells, 26, of Holmes Terrace, on Wednesday, Feb. 6. According to her complaint warrant, Wells deliberately threw the cup of coffee at an officer’s head, causing the officer pain and temporary discoloration. For the alleged action, Wells faces one charge of aggravated assault against a police officer. Wells has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) on $15,000 bail. Her first court appearance has been scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 12.

A Freehold resident faces 19 drug related charges from summer 2012. Freehold Township and Freehold Borough Police arrested Teicha McIver, 37, of McDermott Street, after she was found in possession of heroin in both towns. According to McIver’s complaint warrant, she was charged with possession, possession with intent to distribute and distribution of the controlled dangerous substance on July 24 and July 26 in Freehold Township. Freehold Township Police also charged McIver with possession, intent to distribute and distribution of the controlled dangerous substance within 1,000 feet of Biotechnology High School and within 500 feet of East Freehold Park. Councilwoman Sharon Shutzer thanked police and the school district for safely evacuating students after a bomb threat was found at Park Avenue Elementary School yesterday.
Councilwoman Councilwoman Sharon Shutzer commended Freehold Borough police and school district staff on their safe and speedy plan of action after a written threat was discovered. Late Monday morning, parents of Freehold Borough students received an alert that the Park Avenue Elementary School and Freehold Intermediate School were evacuated due to a bomb threat. Freehold Borough Schools Superintendent Elizabeth O’Connell confirmed that a threat was found in the form of a note in one of a boy’s bathrooms in the Park Avenue school. Man allegedly refused to stop for law enforcement while driving.
A Freehold Borough man was arrested Tuesday night after he allegedly attempted to escape from a law enforcement officer. Freehold Borough Police have charged Lionel K. Ramey, 48, of Barkalow Avenue, with eluding law enforcement, resisting arrest and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. According to Ramey’s complaint warrant, he refused to stop for a police car that had sirens and lights flashing. Ramey also allegedly attempted to escape from the officer, by getting out of the car while it was still in drive and then getting back in before being stopped. Freehold Borough man allegedly armed himself with a tree branch and empty glass bottle.
A Freehold Borough man has been accused of creating a hazardous situation, maintaining a nuisance, drug possession, and resisting arrest. Michael Iacono, 27, of Fourth Street, allegedly walked around a Freehold Borough street in his bathrobe while arming himself with a tree branch and empty glass bottle on Saturday, Jan. 19. According to his complaint warrant, Iacono did not have any undergarments on while he walked the street in his bathrobe. He also allegedly used offensively coarse language while walking. The complaint warrant further explains that Iacono’s behavior endangered the safety and health of his neighbors, specifically by repeatedly acting in a manner that caused annoyance and alarm. Freehold man faces three drug related charges.
A Freehold man faces three drug related charges after he allegedly possessed marijuana in a home where he had legal duty to care for a child. Freehold Borough Police arrested William Reynolds, 29, of South Street, on Saturday, Jan. 19. According to Reynolds’ complaint warrant, he possessed a large amount of narcotics in the residence, the drugs were described to be within reach of the child. Reynolds has also been charged with possession and intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance. The warrant specified that Reynolds possessed more than 50 grams of marijuana and intended to distribute anywhere between one ounce and five pounds of the drug.
