Neptune Man Indicted on Burglary Charge Involving Pepe’s Deli

The man allegedly burglarized the deli in September.

A Monmouth County grand jury voted to indict a Neptune man one charge surrounding the burglary of a Freehold Deli. Andre Walker, 31, of Chaphagen Drive, faces one burglary charge after he allegedly entered Pepe’s Deli unlawfully. According to Walker’s indictment, on Sept. 22 he unlawfully entered the deli. Court documents state that Walker entered the business with the purpose to commit an offense. At the time of the alleged burglary, the business was closed and Walker did not have consent to be there. His charge of burglary is considered a third-degree crime.

Freehold Resident Charged with Identity Theft

Monmouth County Grand Jury hands down indictments.

A Monmouth County grand jury voted to indict Beatriz Vega, 27, of Freehold on one count of third degree impersonation, theft of identity. Between Sept. 1, 2009 and Aug. 1, 2012 Vega is charged with "obtaining personal identifying information," of a person in Howell, Freehold Township and Freehold Borough. The indictment states that Vega committed the crime, "for the purpose of obtaining or attempting to obtain a pecuniary benefit of a value in excess of $500 or services, or avoid the payment of debt or other legal obligation or avoid prosecution for a crime by using the name of the other person." She is also charged with one count of third degree uttering a simulated document for having a Social Security card or permanent resident card …

NY Man Indicted On Freehold Theft By Deception Charge

The man was indicted after he allegedly obtaining over $1,500 from a Freehold Township resident.

A Monmouth County grand jury voted to indict a New York man following two Freehold incidents. Luigi Dellamonica, 32, of Baldwin NY, faces a theft by deception charge after he allegedly obtained over $500 from a Freehold Township resident through deception. Dellamonica also faces a bad checks charge. The indictment explains that Dellamonica issued or passed a bad check for over $1,000 dollars knowing that it would not be honored. According to the indictment, both incidents took place in Freehold Township.  The theft by deception allegedly occurred on March 15. The indictment states that the bad checks charge came from a June 14 incident.

Freehold Man Indicted on Selling Drugs Near Elementary School

Jamar Ousley, 29, was indicted on 7 drug crimes.

A Monmouth County jury indicted a Freehold man for selling drugs near a Freehold Borough School. Jamar Ousley, 29, of Zlotkin Cr. was arrested for allegedly selling marijuana near the The Learning Center. According to the complaint warrant, Ousley had a large blue storage bin containing several vacuum packed clear bags containing a greenish vegetative matter believed to be marijuana, a large amount of packaging material, empty bags and a digital scale. The indictment says he had over 5 pounds of marijuana in his possession. Ousley was indicted on 7 counts: possession of more than 50 grams of marijuana, 2 counts of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, 2 counts of possession within 1,000 feet of school property with intent to …

Woman Indicted on Theft, Fencing in Freehold Borough

Carole Carney, 24, of Eatontown allegedly stole over $500 of personal property.

A Monmouth County Grand Jury indicted a woman on counts of theft and fencing in Freehold Borough. According to the indictment, Carole Carney, 24, of Eatontown, allegedly bought stolen personal property worth over $500 with intentions for re-sale. Carney was indicted on June 7 with one count of theft and one count of fencing from an incident that happened March 8-24. Both theft and fencing are third degree crimes. A person convicted of these crimes can be fined up to $15,000 and sentenced to 3-5 years in prison.

Freehold Man Indicted on Theft, Drug Charges

He was allegedly driving on a suspended license when he was found in possession of stolen property and methadone.

A Monmouth County grand jury indicted a Freehold man with having drugs and stolen property in his possession while driving with a suspended license. Lawrence Mann, 26, of Stonehurst, allegedly accepted stolen personal property belonging to 16 different victims sometime between Nov. 16-30. He was arrested on Dec. 3 in Mantoloking for allegedly driving with a suspended license and being in possession of methadone. Mann is indicted on 3 counts: one count of receiving stolen property, a third degree crime; one count of operating a motor vehicle during a period of license suspension, a fourth degree crime; and a count of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, a third degree crime.

Freehold Man Indicted on Charge of Theft from Dick's Sporting Goods

He allegedly stole over $500 worth of merchandise in a 2 week period of time.

A Monmouth County grand jury indicted a Freehold man on one count of theft from a sporting goods store in Freehold Township. Matthew Kennedy, 26, of Creamery Ct, allegedly stole over $500 worth of merchandise from Dick’s Sporting Goods. According to the indictment, Kennedy stole the items on multiple occasions between Dec. 12-26. Theft is a third degree crime. Kennedy could receive a fine of up to $15,000 and be sentenced for 3-5 years of imprisonment.

Freehold Man Allegedly Tried to Use Fake Money, Identity at Staples

He is indicted on two counts of forgery.

A Monmouth County grand jury indicted a Freehold man with 2 counts of forgery for allegedly using fake money and a fake name. Michael B. Petterson, 37, of Ragley Hall, allegedly tried to use forged money Staples in Howell. When police questioned him, Hall allegedly gave false information to the reporting officer. Petterson is indicted on one count of uttering a forged instrument, a third degree crime, and hindering apprehension of oneself, a fourth degree crime.

Men Accused of Selling Drugs Near Rug Mill Park in Freehold

Charges stem from January incident.

The Monmouth County Prosecutors Office indicted two men who allegedly were selling heroin near Rug Mill Park in Freehold. Tareek Richardson, 22, of Carol Lane in Howell and Christopher Tashjian of Parker Pass in Colts Neck were both indicted on several charges by a Monmouth County grand jury.  Richardson and Tashjian were arrested in Freehold Borough on or about Jan. 16 of this year and were charged with third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance identified as heroin. In addition, Richardson was indicted on one count of third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute and one count of third degree distribution of a controlled dangerous substance. Freehold Man Indicted on Charges of Possession, Intent to Distribute in Matawan

A Monmouth County Grand Jury handed up the indictment Thursday

A Monmouth County Grand Jury voted Thursday to indict a Freehold man for fourth degree possession of marijuana and third degree intent to distribute. Police say that on Jan. 18, Davon Reid, 22, was in possession of more than 50 grams of marijuana including any adulterants or dilutants in Matawan Borough. The Grand Jury's vote does not determine guilt or innocence, only that charges may be brought against the people named in the indictment.
