NJ Secretary of Agriculture Welcomes Spring at Brock Farms

NJ Secretary of Agriculture celebrated the Spring season by asking residents to shop local.

On one of the first spring like days of the year, NJ Secretary of Agriculture Douglas H. Fisher came to Brock Farms Home and Garden World in Freehold to officially welcome in the season with a call to support local businesses. Freeholder Deputy Director Serena DiMaso, Freeholder John Curley, Assemblywoman Mary Pat Angelini, Freehold Township Mayor Barbara McMorrow, members of the New Jersey Nursery and Landscape Associations (NJNLA) and Ed Brock all joined Fisher on Monday for a tour of the Freehold  facility and reiterated the importance of shopping local. “Brock Farms Home and Garden World is a fabulous locations to kick off spring,” said McMorrow. “This is where neighbors meet.”  In addition to supporting local businesses, the spring …
