Monmouth County Library Collecting Holiday Gifts for Foster Children
Donations can be made at Monmouth County Library Headquarters in Manalapan.
The Monmouth County Library system is collecting gifts for the foster children of Monmouth County this holiday season. From Nov. 20 through Dec. 17, gift collection boxes will be present in Monmouth County Library during regular library hours. Acceptable donations include new unwrapped gifts for children from infancy to 18-years-old as well as gift cards to popular stores for children. Children in foster care can feel very much alone during the holiday season and remember good times with their biological families before the abuse began, according to Monmouth County Foster and Adoptive Family Services.
