Funding is Approved by Borough Board of Education
Freehold Borough Board of Education unanimously approved the use of resources within the district.
The Freehold Borough Board of Education approved a lengthy agenda, Jan. 10. Funds for many projects were authorized including: personnel, equipments, professional development, and school trips. Business Administrator and Board Secretary, Patrick DeGeorge, certified to the board that no budget line item account had been over expanded. A number of bills had also been submitted to be approved at a total of $508,703.61. These bills accounted for expenses, grants, and food services. DeGeorge authorized a request to advertise a proposal hearing for a Board Attorney, Auditor, Architect of Record, and Commercial Insurance Broker. “I want to look for proposals for these things,"DeGeorge said.
