Qdoba Celebrates Grand Opening at Freehold Raceway Mall

The new restaurant is described as a fast casual Mexican grill.

The Freehold Raceway Mall welcomed its newest restaurant on Monday with the grand opening of Qdoba Mexican Grill. Conveniently located where the former Johnny Rockets was, Qdoba offers shoppers a fast casual dining experience outside of the food court. It features classic Mexican dishes and a large dining area both inside and directly outside the restaurant. “Everything we serve is made here on our premise and brings our quality of food to another level. When we are not serving customers, you can see our employees smashing avocados to make our guacamole,” explained Tiffany Thrasher, a Regional Marketing Specialist for Qdoba. Freehold Raceway Mall Becomes New Home of Qdoba Mexican Grill

The Mexican restaurant will have its grand opening on Monday, April 1.

Qdoba Mexican Grill is coming to Freehold on Monday, April 1. The Freehold Raceway Mall location will celebrate its grand opening, by giving every guest who visits the new restaurant between April 1 and 7 a Qdoba Rewards Card preloaded with a free order of chips and queso. Adding to the excitement, the new Qdoba will also give 10 guests Free Burritos for a Year. Throughout April, guests who fill out a registration form at the restaurant will be entered into the giveaway, and 10 lucky winners will be announced on April 30. Additional Charges Filed Against 4 Previously Arrested on Credit Card Fraud

North Jersey residents face additional charges stemming from a Feb. 18 arrest.

Four people arrested last week now face additional charges of receiving stolen property from two Freehold Raceway Mall stores. Ruali Alvarez-Diaz, 45, of Garfield, Rauli Alvarez-Yanes, 20, of Elizabeth, Felix Llaneras, 49, of Union City, and Lisary Garcia, 22, of Elizabeth, each face two charges of receiving stolen property from Lord & Taylor and Sur La Table. According to each person’s complaint warrant, they all allegedly received $1,114.94 worth of leather handbags from Lord & Taylor and $317.80 worth of housewares from Sur La Table. Previously, Diaz faced charges of credit card theft and possession of a fraudulent driver’s license. Yanes was charged with possession of stolen property from Macy’s valued at $517.50. North Jersey Residents Accused of Using Fraudulent Credit Cards At Mall

The Freehold Township Police Department arrested two people on Monday, Feb. 18 after they allegedly used fraudulent credit cards to make purchases at the Freehold Raceway Mall.

Two North Jersey residents face criminal charges after they allegedly used fraudulent credit cards to receive merchandise from the Freehold Raceway Mall on President’s day. Freehold Township Police arrested Lishary Garcia of Elizabeth, after she allegedly used a fraudulent credit card to buy almost $600 worth of merchandise. Garcia, 22, faces one charge of receiving stolen property and one charge of credit card theft. According to her complaint warrant, on Feb. 18, Garcia received a $500 Lord & Taylor gift card that was purchased with a fraudulent credit card. In addition to the gift card, Garcia allegedly used a fraudulent credit card to purchase $96.99 worth of clothing from Forever 21. According to Garcia’s complaint warrant she …

Queens Man Accused of Using Counterfeit Money at Freehold Stores

Man allegedly used counterfeit $100 bills to buy products from stores at the Freehold Raceway Mall store.

A Queens man faces seven charges after he allegedly used counterfeit money to buy goods from multiple Freehold Raceway Mall stores. Freehold Township Police arrested Juan Arango, 31, of 57th Avenue, on Sunday after he allegedly used money he knew was counterfeit at Charlotte Russe, Express, Bath & Body Works, Wet Seal and Victoria Secret. According to Arango’s complaint warrant, he used a counterfeit $100 bill at each store and purchased a total of 12 items. In addition to using the counterfeit money, Arango allegedly possessed a false permanent resident card, and a folded up dollar bill concealing a white powder-like substance believed to be cocaine. Police: Morganville Man Conceals Lord & Taylor Watch in Shirt

The man faces one criminal charge after he allegedly attempted to steal a watch from Lord & Taylor.

Freehold Township Police arrested a Morganville man after he allegedly attempted to conceal a watch from a Freehold Raceway Mall department store. Jesse A. Jecas, 21, of Sussex Road, was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 13. According to his complaint warrant, Jecas attempted to leave Lord & Taylor while concealing a watch inside his shirt. The watch was valued at $250. Jecas’ complaint warrant notes that a Lord & Taylor employee stopped him from leaving the store. Jecas has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) on $1,000 bail.

Newark Resident Accused of Shoplifting Designer Handbags

A Newark woman allegedly attempted to shoplift two Michael Kors handbags from Lord & Taylor.

Freehold Township Police charged a Newark woman with shoplifting after she allegedly attempted to steal designer handbags from a Freehold Raceway Mall department store. Coulette K. Stokes, 46, of Holiday Court is accused of trying to take two Michael Kors handbags from Lord & Taylor on Wednesday, Jan. 23. According to Stoke’s complaint warrant, she concealed the bags under her dress. Together, the bags totaled $676. Stokes has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) on $5,000 bail.

Wall Man Accused of Looking into Mall Dressing Room

A juvenile was in the process of disrobing when the man allegedly looked into the dressing room.

A Wall resident is accused of looking into a dressing room of a Freehold Raceway Mall clothing store. On Tuesday, Jan. 22 Dennis R. Perry, 35, of Wall Township, was arrested by Freehold Township Police and charged with one count of invasion of privacy. Perry allegedly looked under a dressing room door of the clothing store Cotton On while a juvenile was in the process of disrobing. According to Perry’s complaint warrant he has a prior criminal history and no fixed address. He has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) on $2,500 bail.
