Police: Freehold Man Used Knife in Robbery
A Freehold man allegedly used a knife during a robbery of an Ocean Township grocery store.
Ocean Township Police arrested a Freehold man after he allegedly used a knife in a robbery of a Route 35 grocery store. Tionne Henderson, 23, of Ford Avenue, faces four charges following a January incident. According to Henderson’s complaint warrant, on Jan. 19, he entered the International Mexican Grocery store and produced a knife to the cashier and demanded money. Henderson allegedly took $400 from the store. Henderson has been charged with robbery, possessing a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and making terroristic threats.
