The Microsoft store in the Freehold Raceway Mall opened its doors for the first time with a bang. The store opened with a grand opening ceremony on Saturday, June 9. The store hosted a variety of celebrations to honor their grand opening including a concert featuring CeeLo Green and Lupe Fiasco on Saturday evening. Music artists CeeLo Green and Lupe Fiasco and NY Giant Victor Cruz will all be at the Freehold Raceway Mall this weekend to celebrate the grand opening of the new Microsoft store. The festivities will start with a grand opening ceremony at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 9. The Microsoft Store doors open at 10:00 a.m. after the ribbon cutting. The first 800 people in line for the grand opening will receive two premiere-viewing tickets to the Lupe Fiasco and CeeLo Green concert scheduled for Saturday night in the Dick’s Sporting Goods parking lot at 7:00 p.m. Fans are invited to start lining up for the opening the night before at 10:00 p.m. in the parking lot between Nordstrom and Macy’s, but no tents will be permitted. Are you kidding me, my wife decided to pass by at 7:15pm and we were told anyone can see the concert as no wristbands were needed... maybe 500 people showed up. It was poorly advertised. more ›
